Woods and River RV park was named after the very presence of the camp. Our property encompasses 22 acres which proudly displays 100’s of matured trees that present a canopy of greenery that comfortably shades Our River sites. We have an abundance of meadow sites that present the continental divides San Juan mountain range to the West, and the Sangre de Cristo mountain range to the East. Our favorite part is our river frontage. The camps water feature is unique and second to none. Woods and River Campground rests on nearly 2000 ft of the Rio Grande River headwaters. The slow and meandering nature of the river boasts world class trout fishing, enjoyed by fly-fishing enthusiasts from around the globe. We have often been referred to as the “Most Unique Campground” for the very nature of what we have to exhibit. Extra large campsites and an abnormal amount of peace, quiet and space.
